Oh what an exciting year it has been!  In May 1998 we were called by the Lord
to develop an outreach to singles.  Our purpose was and still is to develop friendships as well as fellowship based on the word of God.  We also want to
be a support system for one another as trials come our way.

Our first meeting was attended by 24 individuals and has now grown to as many as 80 at a meeting.  In November we celebrated a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.  Well over 60 people enjoyed our Christmas festivities.  In addition to the usual holiday celebrations, we celebrated everyone's birthday, have picnics and attend retreats together.

At the monthly meetings we enjoy games, food and singing (sometimes with
Karaoke).  Since the inception of Simply Singles, members have formed such
deep friendships that many people get together quite regularly to enjoy movies, bowling, volleyball, holiday celebrations, dinner and shopping.

Since May 1998 we have had a total of 212 people come through the door. 11% of attendees are in their 20's, 23% in their 30's, 29% in their 40's, 26% in their 50's,  8% in their 60's,  3% in their 70's and even a few in their 80's.   We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has participated in the planning and preparation of each event.  Many hours are spent to make our time together fun and exciting.  Thank you to all our friends for the generous
gift of their time, talents, and participation, which allows us so much freedom at the parties.
